Age Groups: 8 and up

Key Areas in Philosophy

  • Ethics and Morality

Description:

“Doing the right thing” is difficult for people of all ages.  Should we think of others first, or is it okay to be selfish?  Is it better to please a few people, or many people?  Are some kinds of happiness better than others?  This workshop examines change and conflict from a variety of viewpoints, and encourages students to consider the consequences of their actions, and their responsibility toward themselves and others.
